Advisory for property, development, partnerships & organizations
Bryant & Co. Consulting takes on the opportunities, properties, projects and problems that need a clear strategy and someone who will carry it through. The firm was founded by J. Bryant, a broker, developer and operator whose work spans private real estate, public infrastructure, capital, and the organizations that hold it all together.
Active across these markets. Engagements elsewhere when the work calls for it.
Not sure where to start?
Answer two quick questions and we'll point you to the right conversation.
Start with the problem
Each engagement starts in a different place. Choose the description closest to yours and you'll go straight to the right conversation, with an intake built for that kind of work.
The intersection
Most problems worth solving sit between disciplines. A development deal is also a capital question, a partnership question and a community question. The firm works across all of them at once, so nothing falls between the cracks of separate advisors.
How an engagement moves
Every engagement follows the same sequence, whatever its size. Tap a stage to see what happens there.
The record
The range is the point. Few advisors have sold homes in Manhattan and Malibu, spent six months on the ground in Austin during a housing boom, cleared right of way for a bridge, worked public housing redevelopment, raised capital for their own project and built a relief operation on the ground. The development foundation comes from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
We review a limited number of new engagements and opportunities at a time, so each one gets full attention.

Some questions need one sharp working session. Others need a partner in the room for a year. Each engagement below states who it is for, what it covers and how it is priced, so you can pick the right one before we speak.
Before you schedule
Each conversation has a different purpose, length and outcome. Pick the one that matches where you are. A short intake comes first so the time is spent on your situation rather than background.
A brief first call to understand what you are working on and whether the firm is the right fit.
A focused working session on a single decision, opportunity, negotiation or problem.
A deeper review of a specific property, development or initiative, with materials reviewed in advance.
A conversation about a continuing advisory relationship for owners, founders and organizations.
Bring us something
A property, a development site, a business concept, a partnership, a community initiative, an investment or a special project. If it is complicated and worth doing, we want to see it.
We review a limited number of new engagements and opportunities at a time. Every submission is read personally, and you will hear back when there is a fit.
Selected experience
A record drawn from J. Bryant's career across brokerage, development, public infrastructure, investment advisory and community work. Where work was done in a prior role, the role is named.
Founder & Principal
An operator who has worked every side of the table: buyer, seller, developer, public agency, investor and organizer.
J. Bryant has spent roughly fifteen years in real estate across New York and California, and a career that refuses to stay in one lane. She has represented buyers and sellers in New York City, Malibu and Los Angeles, built her own brokerage in Concrete Real Estate NYC, and become known in New York for finding the property everyone else said did not exist.
As Director of Real Estate at Del Richardson & Associates in Los Angeles, she worked on the public side of development: estimating real estate and relocation costs for proposed transit alignments, assessing community and cultural impacts, assisting on the multi-year Jordan Downs public housing redevelopment through completion, and acquiring homes to clear the right of way for the Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge in Texas, a project that relocated hundreds of residents. At Jordan Downs, when construction crews struck a gas line and the entire community lost heat, hot water and gas for more than a week, she coordinated hot meals and sourced and distributed gift cards for every tenant household.
Through Bryant & Co. Luxury Developments she now leads an active development in Jersey City, where she sourced the property, raised the capital, brought in the partners, secured permits and hired the general contractor and subcontractors. She works on the ground across several development sites in Jersey City alongside one of the most accomplished developers in the market, including helping plan and prepare the city’s bank properties for redevelopment, down to the sale and removal of a one-of-a-kind vault. She also advises on commercial real estate and investment opportunities in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
In Texas, she spent six months on the ground in the Austin area in 2022 during the region’s housing boom, and works with an accomplished development team there. Investors and aspiring developers looking at the Austin market can be connected directly with that team on the ground.
Outside the deal room, she founded nonprofit organizations and has led grassroots disaster relief on the ground, including ten months during the 2025 Palisades fires coordinating multiple nonprofits. That work taught the same lesson as every closing: complicated situations resolve when someone takes ownership of the whole picture.
Bryant & Co. Consulting exists for clients who need exactly that.
